Description: Additional photos available for this hand made and carved Louis XV caned 19th century settee,loveseat or sofa from France. Large fluted edge with oyster shell carving center back top and bottom. Wonderful acanthus leaf carving at the arms,knees and legs with additional either side below the double caning which is in excellent condition.Very tiny fan shaped caning at top is stunning. Wonderful curved frame throughout. Antique white or pale cream painted aged finish with bit of wood showing through at some points. No chipping or flaking. Springs are tied and intact with light burlap covering ready for new upholstery. Frame and cane in excellent condition. Measures 53L X 23D S 34H.
