Description:

This listing is for a pair of gorgeous cane seat chairs.

These Empire chairs have the following features:

- Curved broad top rail

- Curved smaller mid rail in nearly mirrored pattern of the top

- Back slightly flared backward from seat to top rail with round stiles flattened on front side

- Cane seat enclosed by curved rails that form a nice contoured shape seat

- Front stretcher is decorative and turned. Other stretchers are plain. There are two on the sides and one on the back.

- Ring-turned, tapered front legs with ball feet. Plain rear legs with tapered feet.

- I am not positive of the wood, but maple was the preferred wood for this type of chair and it looks like maple, but I am not a wood expert. It is a wonderfully warm honey or butterscotch color.

Dimensions:

- 32.5" tall at tallest point

- 17" tall to seat

- 16" tall seat back

- 16.75" deep seat at deepest point

- 17" wide seat at widest point

Condition: Overall all in excellent condition. The cane seat on one chair has a small pull, but nothing more.

Please see photos. More available upon request.
