Description: Here's a scarce 5c advertising candy box for Peppermint Coolies from the Candy Crafters' Co. of Lansdown, PA. This is a "politically incorrect" item showing a "Chinaman" pulling a rickshaw. This is copyrighted 1943. Colors are bright and crisp. There is edge wear, crease to the end panels as can be seen in the photos. If you are a collector of old advertising candy boxes, this surely is different! This is from a collection and is on consignment.
