Description:
This highly sought after pair of "Aces" is in every good condition. They have been so lovely cared for the the word Ace has almost been polished off, but is still visible at the right angle. They are the largest of the three original Diamond style candlesticks designed to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee (60 years on the throne). The Ace of Diamonds are considerably more rare than the others made for the same occasion; the King and Queen of Diamonds. The Prince and Princess sizes were added in 1901 following the death of Queen Victoria. A run of all five pairs is highly desirable. Each candlestick in the series has its name & registration # incised in the base. Further photos of a COMPLETE SET or individual pairs can be furnished upon request.
