Description: Here's a neat old advertising candy box - Candied Peanuts. It was made by McCormick's Ltd., London and Canada. The outside of the box has different cariature bodies of animates and people. The interior box has faces which can be switched. For example...the dog or cat can have a funny face - happy or sad. I would image this was made for the United States as the end panel says "5 c" as well as "2 oz." Colors are bright and crisp. There is slight edge wear and light soiling due to age and use. It always amazes me that these things have lasted through the years! If you are a collector of old advertising candy boxes, this is kind of nice. This is from a collection and is on consignment.
