Description: Blue transferware calendar plate for 1974 featuring a farm house and path and the year 1974 and zodiac signs around the edge. Says "God Bless Our House Throughout 1974". Marked on the back in blue underglaze - Alfred Meakin, Staffordshire, England, A Hand Engraved Pattern, applied under the glaze, detergent and acid resisting colour. Very nice and in good condition with no chips or cracks - there is a small smudge in the paint on the edge beside March 74. Display in your kitchen!
