Description: This is one of the finest game tables we have ever had. It is French Louis XVI style made in the late 19th century. It has beautifully carved reeded legs accented with accanthus leaves. The center apron has a stylized shell carving flanked by branches and leaves. The table has its original green blaize with gold leaf tooling around the edges. The sides are paneled and have carved medallions that match the corner medallions in the front. The top of this piece has a beautiful diamond inlay design. Because of the shape of this piece, it can also be used as a wall console table. A very versatile table with a classy style.
