Description: This quaint armoire was made in the mid 1800s in the French province of Alsace. It is assembled in the traditional way for that region with wooden keys connection the two parts. The patina on the pine is lovely and glows from a soft hand rubbed wax finish. The polychrome flowers are a recent addition. The art work is excellent and the painting adds a nice cottage touch to the piece. This armoire is pictured resting on its bottom base, but it also has four bun feet that can be used. With our without the feet, this armoire will be the center attraction in any home.
