Description: 1905 25C PR67 Cameo NGC. The mintage of 727 coins was the second lowest proof mintage from 1892 to 1905, yet it was also the highest proof mintage of any issue from 1904 to 1915. It is unusual to find any early 20th century proof with even slight contrast. This piece has noticeable contrast between the fields and the devices. Both sides are solidly detailed from a strong strike with intense hair details and eagle details.. The deeply mirrored fields are visible beneath the contrasting devices. 3 in 67 cameo, 3 in 68, 0 finer (9/08).
