Description: Gorgeous walnut C.1920 burl footboard with elaborate center open work carving of acanthus leaf swags and urn. Deep antique cream yellow additonal carving along the top ege as well as the feet either side. Can be used either as the existing state or by cutting the lower section of feet off above a bed as a canopy header with fabric flowing behind or above a fireplace as wall hanging above the mantel to create a unique accent. Excellent condition. Measures 57L X 20H X 1.5D.
