Introduced in Brunswick's 1915 catalog, the "Fishpole" or No. 220 was an instant hit! A new look for billiard cues, it implemented a tapered butt. Brunswick's catalog description is as follows; NO. 220 - Fishpole style tapering butt. Genuine ebony four prong with special ebony and ivory butt plate. Silk wound, selected straight grained maple shaft,ivory tip & inlaid mother of pearl nameplate. Hand made, furnished in standard length, 4ft.9in. Special length cues made to order. Cannot be furnished in weight under 20oz...
This cue in particular has been refinished and is ready for play. It has a leather wrap, weighs 21oz. and still sports the original white decal. The ferrule, joint and butt plate are ivory. The pin is brass. This cue is "drop dead gorgeous!" A great investment and wonderful addition to the finest billiard collection.
