Description: Large ornate bronze finial paperweight 19th century from France. The finial is mounted on a black wooden square dome capital with bits of deep red peeking out below.Four cross bar supports along with the hollow dome interior structure of 5/8 inch wood allow to be used as a header on furniture,stairwell or architecturally as an accent on a chest as well as a handsome paperweight. Excellent condition. Measures 11H X 5.5L X 5.5D.
