Description:
This marvelous, gilt chandelier begins with a charming loop finial constructed of acanthus, flower buds, and helixes, which rests above a ribbed center rod, and creates the appearance of a heart-shape. Surrounding the base of the upper finial are five, small, bent rods from which sway five, gleaming spear-cut crystals. The center rod below is sleeved in a baluster style cut-crystal casing, and descends to meet a small disc from which the arms extend. The disc is infixed between two acanthus ascusions and comes to a close with a luminous bullet crystal finial. Each golden, ribbed arm extends upwards from the disc, and is bent into a slight L-curve, to gather a leafy bobeche at its end. Seven glittering crystals suspend from each bobeche and encircle a center spear-cut crystal dangling within. This gorgeous chandelier is in excellent condition. It has been professionally rewired, and it comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This chandelier is 20” at it’s widest; the length of the chandelier only is 26”; the total length is 41 ¼.”
