We were lucky to acquire it from a high end private estate in France near Marseille and it dates 1870 !!The style of this marvelous mantel clock is Renaissance and the bronze gilt is in a gorgeous condition with flowers and leaves.On top of the clock is a statue of a cherub with a cup and grapes in his hands.The cherub is sitting on a magnificent cobalt blue pottery ball.The movement is cleanded by an official clock maker and is driving on a spring suspension,is in wonderful condition, run reliably and keep accurate time.The clock is provided with original pendulum and key.The porcelain dial with the Blue roman numerals and the brass hands are gorgeous.The bronze movement is stamped on the back with the numerals "712" and is probably made by Charles Du Mauvent a French clock maker.Perfect running and striking condition with 8 days going work and the 1/1 and 1/2 hours striking on a bronze silvered bell.The dimensions are: Height: 19,5 Inches ,Width: 18,5 Inches and Depth: 10 Inches.This is a clock that all the top designers and decorators will be sure to snatch up quickly because they love to use unique design elements like this rare mantel clock!Regarding shipping we will pack the clock in a wooden box so you will receive it without any damage.Because the clock is that heavy shipping costs with DHL are 120 US$.
