Description: If you are looking for an extremely fine Victorian brass frame ~ consider this ornate oval metal backed frame with full bodied cherubs and roses on each side and a pair nestled at the top with wings! Measuring 16-3/4" wide by 13-1/2" tall. Note the exquisite gargoyle dolphin feet against the lattice work at the base ~ lots of detail on this beauty and in original aged patina. Back has a nice heavy stand that is hinged to move away if you would rather hang the frame. There are initials incised in the brass that look like N B +M with numbers.
