Description:
Pair of French late 19th century brass sconces ae electrified with new wiring and caps to install into a wall socket or easily wired into wall. The brass backplates have a torch motif top,heavy beading around the ccollar,grooved pedestal and decorative base. Acanthus leaves and beading on the scrolled arms and bottom of bobeche has leaf design in brass. Three large prisms with rosette wires on arms one smaller on the bobeche ,just prism on other no rosette.Deep antique cream candle holders with drips feel and look like wax as do the light bulbs with flexible tips. Soft glow when lit but give out good lighting. Wonderful where space is limited such as either side a mirror in bath. Excellent condition. Measure 13H to top of light bulb,15.5 to end of flexible tip X 3.25W,6D.
