Description: This is a brand new pair of boy's brown high top dress shoes from the 1930-40's period. The brand on the original box is Peter's. It is listed as "Peter's Happy Hikers, Always A Step Ahead", Peter's Division of International Shoe Company, St. Louis, MO. Originally priced at $7.95. There are a size 10. These are left over stock from Jaeger's I. G. A. store in Watson, Michigan. Evidently the store closed in the mid to late 1900's and the merchandise sat in storage and was just recently liquidated.
