Description: To a most rare early 19th century Anglo-Indian sandalwood box. Made for the Raj. This box is mounted with silver and brass nails. The box displays a wealth of floral carving and is all in good order with some small missing sections to the interior fret. Attention is called to the ball and claw feet and scaloped skirt, which is further carved.
