Description: Oriental or japanese black laquerware salad or serving bowl set by AIZO marked on the bottom. Fabulous pictures or scenes of oriental items like a pagoda, cranes, sailboats etc. Master bowl is 12.0 inches across with a few touches of mother of pearl material and 6 smaller bowls are 6.0 inches across. Mark is on each bowl but some are faint. Excellent vintage condition on all but one bowl that has a hairline crack and small damage to rim. Price is for the set of 7 bowls and painted fork and spoon that are 11.0 inches for a total of 9 pieces. From the 1950s era. Would go extremely well with Kaye LaMoyne items.
