Description: An original American Chippendale bookcase secretary made of crutch walnut. This bookcase has a fall-out writing station with numerous compartments. This piece consists of two sections. The upper section is a bookcase enclosed by four glass doors. The lower section has a writing unit with small stationary shelves and drawers. In addition to this, it also has five drawers and two cabinet doors. Each compartment has a brass handle. The top of this bookcase-secretary is decorated with a broken pediment, giving the piece a sophisticated look.
