This is a big Beautiful Book with bright gold gilt stamping on brick color cloth boards pictorial cover of angel Gabrial with a sword. Bright gilt design on spine. All edges are bright gold gilt. A great book just full of full page engravings. The first few pages have a few tears & stains. The spine is a bit weak, & the pages are somewhat loose but yet firmly intact. The covers are bumped on all corners & the spine is completely decorated with the scenes from Milton’s prose. With all the little problems this book still presents very well.
