Description: We attribute this tall blown applied glass candle holder or fairy lamp base to the Bohemian firm of Hartmann and Dieterichs ca. 1900 - 1910. It is not John Walsh Walsh as the yellow is wrong, and the lack of a British pontil scar with the ground upper rim all indicate Bohemian. Also this is uranium oxide free and has an abundance of the bright orange enamel that adorns so many of the regional glass pieces. Decorative Victorian Glass / by Cyril Manley; Collectible Bohemian Glass 1880-1940, and Collectible Bohemian Glass Vol. II 1915-1945 / both by Robert & Deborah Truitt; Bohemian Glass ¿¿¿ 1400-1989 / by Sylva Petrova and Jean-Luc Olivie ( photos by Gabriel Urbanek -- part of a collection of art glass to be sold live on eBayLiveAuctions on Oct 5th at 1pm, Andy & Rob Collection.
