Description:
This exquisite Bohemian blue crystal vase was made by hand in Czechoslovakia and completely decorated by hand. The high rise sculpted porcelain paste flowers are applied to the glass and then hand painted after the gold leaf is put on. It is hand blown before any decoration is added. The color of the glass is a glowing royal blue, and it has its orignial label and box. The condition is absolutely mint, and this is a lovely piece for an elegant interior. The flowers are hydrangea blossoms; on the front they are shades of blue, on the reverse side, shades of pink. The height of the decoration at its highest point is 3/8'. There are also small double blossoms on the sides of the top,both pink and blue. Each flower has a gold point at its center. The background gold is matte with the top and bottom bands and all scrolls in brilliant raised gold. The box is silk lined.
