Description: Blue & White/Lusterware. Beautiful porcelain lusterware bowl, white background, hand-painted with an open coral daffodil and bluebell and a profusion of leaves and bluebirds. Banded in a medium blue. Good condition considering age, no chips, cracks or breaks but does show wear in the luster around the rim. Measures 7 inches in diameter X 2 inches high. Stamped Made-in-Japan on back of plate w/1945 handwritten onto the glaze. Pattern and style is from the “40s. Handle piercing on two sides of the bowl.
