Description: The back of the carriage has a Mythology design with 2 Putti or Cupids flanking a Deity, which appears to be the North Wind. This is in twin form on the back of the carriage in Dore Bronze.

Wonderfully ornate side arms with beading around all the twist and turns of the Ormolu which carries through out this piece.

The Blue Opaline Egg by itself is an extra large size being 7" across and housing two gorgeous Ormolu crown capped Scents or ink wells.

There are 5 prancing donkeys leading the carriage. They are held to the carriage with draped chains and Dore Bronze leads.

The carriage is very large at 17 1/2" in length.

In fantastic condition with the hinge and clasp working properly. There are no chips or cracks to the glass. There is natural aged patina.
