Description: This blue delft china mantle clock was made by the highly regarded Waterbury Clock Company. The china case has a hand painted design generally referred to as blue delft, which displays sailing ships, small flower and scrolling leaves. The ornately cast brass face has a beveled glass bezel and hand painted black numbers on the dial. The brass works are original and in excellent working condition. The clock strikes on the hour and the half hour. When fully wound, the clock will run for at least 7 days. The case is in excellent condition having no chips or breaks. The china glaze has some crazing in the surface, which is to be expected.
