Description: This is a true beauty with the darker cobalt agate with several lighter shades of blue.

The way this was cut and polished it resembles waves of water. The ends are polished into a rounded off edge.

Ca. 1900 it is in excellent condition save for one rub mark where it must have rested on a table. This is very minute and is not a crack or chip it just has rubbed off some of the shine that was achieved from polishing. There are no other chips or cracks to the agate.

The page turner is 7" long by 3" wide. These were very popular during the Victorian era. Today they still make the perfect page turner for antique books. Thin enough this can also be used as a book marker.

Page Turners were used to keep from weakening and destroying pages in a book, parchment, manuscripts from the oil in ones' hands.
