Description: Late 19th Century Black Forest Hallstand A rare Swiss carved softwood hallstand in the form of a bear standing at the base of a tree supporting a mirror fitted with naturalistic coat hooks and with climbing bear surmount. The base has an integral carved umbrella stand.(replaced copper tray-repairs to branch). Circa 1890
