Offered is a vintage antique children's story book: "Bird Stories and Other Story For Little People", New York: A.L. Burt Co. Hardcover HB blind stamped black and orange titles and borders - pasted color illustreation of an eagle; No date but probably circa 1910-1915; Bird painting Frontis in color; book profusely illustrated with b/w etchings & drawings; a collection of bird stories--How the Blue Bird Was Mad e, The Stupid Ostrich, Our Baby Hummingbirds, The Red-Breast, A Wooden-Legged Bantam, etc.; each story is beautifully illustrated; 120pp; a 2-page back adds. The best condition - the cover has minor shelf wear and age holes at the front gutter. In a nice illustrated dust jacket - list of Mother Goose Books on back - tears and small piece missing at spine head - tiny chip at spine heel.

Once a package is in the Postal Service hands, I loose control over it. Generally for US shipments you can expect delivery within 3 or 4 business days (or 3-9 for media rate). For non-US shipments, once the package leaves the US, even the USPS looses control over it. I can not predict transit times for these packages. They quite often are held up in customs in the receiving country. Please be patient.
