Description: THIS IS THE END OF A LOT OF LOUIS FERAUD LADY FACE BROOCHES I HAD ACQUIRED FROM EUROPE A FEW YEARS AGO.

Was fortunate enough several years back to be able to purchase a lot of breath-taking face brooches by Feraud. Said lot was unworn warehouse stock created by the artist for his own line in the 1980s.

This mind-boggling creation measures a most impressive 3 1/2" high x 2 7/8" at its widest point. Clasp is fully functioning.

I call this one "Amelia" as it always reminds me of Amelia Earhart. Brooch is studded with loads of pave'-set, multicolored rhinestones. She is further enhanced by enameling at various points including her eyes, lips, and cheek. Signed "Louis Feraud/Bijoux" on the underside. Purely and simply a knockout, and not for the faint of heart!
