Description: Alexander Pope's admonition considered, don't break this butterfly upon a wheel! Rather, wear it with pride as it is such an impressive vintage accessory. Measuring approx. 2 5/8" at widest point x 2 1/4" long, this pretty figural is bedecked with prong-set stones in shades of red, blue, clear, turquoise, and amber, with one great big pink stone at the center. There is a modicum of age-appropriate wear to the pale goldtone metal, but nothing too significant, probably, as I would hazard a guess that this impressive accessory is probably c. 1930s-'40s.
