Description: Our Big Red Story Book really is a Big Red Story Book. It measures 25 3/4 inches high X 18 1//4 inches wide closed. It features it's own book stand that un-snaps to open for use, located on the front and back of the book. There is a silver metal tray located inside both the front and back cover's bottom edge to keep the pages where they need to be, while in use. It is a Ginn Basic Reader 100 Edition from Ginn and Company and is dated 1966. Our very big Big Red Story Book must have been a classroom aid of some sort. It is a 5 ring binder style book and the 38 pages each have 5 gromets to protect their holes from rips and tears. The book is in very nice condition, having light wear from age and use. The corners of the cover are a little bent and there is common light soiling from age and storage.
