Description: Bernard Richards Paris Gilt Ormolu & Stone Shaving Set, 20th C. France. The gilt brass/bronze stand is fitted with a brush (with lapis circlet to the base), razor (missing blade) and handle (top part missing). The top of the stand is fitted with two black stone *(onyx?) cabochons. The side and base of the stand are stamped: "BERNARD RICHARDS PARIS".

Price Comparison: $300-400 in a Fine Art & Antiques Gallery. Dimensions: Set: 7-3/8" High, 3-1/4" Wide, 2" Deep. Weight: 0.75lbs. (12oz.) Condition: The top/fixture to the top of one handle is broken-off (piece is missing). There is some minor scratching/wear and oxidation to the gilt surfaces. Otherwise, the set is in good condition.
