Description: This vintage VW 1200 friction car was made in Japan, probably in the 1960's. It is very good condition overall, except for one problem. The undercarriage has been dented by the left rear wheel. This could be repaired, however, by prying it back up into position. The exterior is a very nice cream color, and the underside is black. It has chrome metal hubcaps, headlights, windshield frame, bumpers, and VW logo. The interior is red and white, with nice lithoed details. The wheels are white metal, with unusually bold black VW logos. The tires are rubber. Its length is 7 1/4".
This is a great friction car for any toy VW Beetle collector.
