Description: Very old matched pair of sailor made beckets for sea chest. Nice rope work and woven leather. Approx. 7 1/2" long. Very rare items of maritime historical significance. Sea chests are easy to find but routinely are missing the beckets. The true value of sea chests is very often measured by the existence and/or the quality of the beckets.
