Description: This is a midcentury oil painting of a beachy sand dune landscape like Carmel, California. It is signed by listed European artist H. Hiersch 1918-1986. The painting exhibits some craquelure that is typical of heavily painted art. The frame is an off white antiqued with gold curvy lines. The sultry foggy painting gives the feel of a windy day at the beach with it's moody cypress trees in motion. Very nice for decor at a beachy location.
