Bavarian Porcelain Coffee and Dessert Set This Bavarian Porcelain coffee and dessert set consist of a regular coffee cup with saucer and an 8" dessert plate. During the 20th century it was custom for a bride to collect these sets in different porcelain patterns to serve guest. The porcelain is of very fine quality. Markings: The three pieces are die stamped with trademark consisting of a flower setting on top of an "M". Underneath the M is "Mitterteich, Bavaria". The cup and saucer are marked with the number "049". The cup contains the additional number "22884". The desert plate has the number "045". Condition: Excellent (The porcelain is not discolored chipped, nicked, or cracked and the decoration, including the gold overlay, is not worn or scratched, The color is brilliant.)
