Description:
This red glazed figural pottery dragon was made in Wales. It is very impressive with lots of details in the molding. It has several stickers that I will list. On the side it has a gold sticker that has CYNNYRCH CYMRO Made in Wales. A yellow sticker has Ceudwll Llechwedd - Llechwedd Slate Caverns. Three feet have black stamped writing Bangor Pottery, Made in Wales, and Ckochendy something. I believe this dragon is called a griffen and it is featured on the Welsh flag. The condition is very good with no chips or cracks. The bottom is rough and this is original to the making. The red clay can be seen on the unglazed bottom.
In my inventory I also have a blue pottery mug with a dragon that is similar that was also made in Wales.
This item will be shipped from Texas. It can be combined with other items shipped from Texas to save on postage.
