Description:
This is a very nice pair of 1920's baby boy trousers in a gift box for "HIS FIRST BIRTHDAY" which is marked on the gift card inside. The pants are a gray wool tweed, with two metal buttons at the waste. The buttons appear to be cast metal, and are marked "U.S.A." on them. This original gift boxed pants are in very good condition, no damage, clean, appear new. The gift box has a copyrighted litho that matches the one on one side of the larger gift card that comes with the box. The card and box are marked "PATENT APPLIED FOR OCT. 3 1916 BY MARX & HAAS" under the litho, and is also marked on the other side "THE BUCKEYE CLO. CO. MARIETTA OHIO HARX & HAAS CLOTHING CO. ST. LOUIS THIS WILL FIT YOUR SON WHEN HE IS ONE YEAR OLD". The box is in good shape overall,with some minor edge wear, but the litho of an angel holding a baby is in great shape on the top. Both the cards are in great shape as well. A very rare original gift boxed baby pants, in like new condition!
