Description: This is a very pretty Staffordshire, England bone china salt shaker that is unfortunately without a matching shaker. This is a hand made rose by Aynsley, England. This flower top shaker was made in the 1930s and features a lovely hand made pink rose on a white base with green leaves. The stopper is missing but would be easy to replace. The posy is in excellent condition. We watched craftsman making these at the factory workrooms in Stoke On Trent and were amazed at the skill and time it took to make each part of these arrangements by hand from a lump of clay. The demonstration rooms have been closed. Beautiful!
