Item: Set-Collection-Lot-Group of Five (5) Vintage Avon “Mother’s Day” Commemorative Decorative Collector-Collectible Small Plates for the Years 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984 and 1985. Each plate is ornamented with Delightfully Charming Imagery of Children: ***1981 Mother’s Day - “Cherished Moments Last Forever" - featuring an oh-so-precious little girl all dressed up and playing “grown-up,” wearing her mommy’s dress, Easter hat/bonnet, high-heeled shoes and purse/handbag ***1982 Mother’s Day - “Little Things Mean A Lot” - featuring a darling overalls-attired little boy looking lovingly and adoringly up at his mother as he oh-so-proudly presents her with a bouquet of wildflowers in honor of her very special day, while his equally-precious pooch/puppy dog peeks out from behind him with his own separate Mother’s Day offering of a single wildflower in his mouth, for ‘mother’ is his ‘mommy’ too :~) ***1983 Mother’s Day - “Love is a Song for Mother” - featuring a trio of little children, two little girls and a little boy, joyfully picking daisies/wild-flowers and intertwining them into a garland for “mommy” ***1984 Mother’s Day - “Love Comes in All Sizes” - featuring a trio of little children, two little boys and a little girl, with one little boy standing on a footstool and measuring the height of the other two with a ruler ***1985 Mother’s Day - “Special Memories - Creation of Love” by Tom Newsom - featuring a little boy presenting his mother with a drawing he has created just for her on her special day. They are in their kitchen in front of the refrigerator which already has some of his other artwork proudly displayed on it. His faithful little puppy-dog is at his feet.
