Description: We are offering for your consideration, The Tragic Saga of the Indiana Indians, a Limited Edition Book written by Harold Allison. The hardcover book is signed by the author and is limited edition number 586 of 2000 copies. The Library of Congress Catalog Card Number is 86 and the ISBN is 0-938021-07-9. It features a 1986 copyright by Harold Allison, 331 pages, Bibliography, maps and legends for Major Indian Battles and Encounters, Indian Villages and Reservations, Indian Heritage Sites, Monuments, Markers, Museums and Forts all in the State of Indiana, along with a few Illustrations. In it's former life, the book was a library book at John Adams High School in South Bend, Indiana. It has common library stamps, markings and card pocket. The page edge has a light yellow soil mark and it looks like a dog got a hold of one corner on the front cover and very edge of the pages and gave them a little nibble! The majority of the book covers the accounts of the tragic conflict between Native American Indians and the White Men in what is now the State of Indiana. The author's prayer is that we have learned from our mistakes in the past and will never repeat them.
