SCHAUER & Co., Wiener Emailfarbenwerk, Majolikawerkstatt, Vienna enamel-colors manufacture and Majolica manufacture, founded 1900 – c. 1927 by Anton von Schauer, in 1907 Clemens Tetzner became partner of Schauer and they worked together with the K. K. Art Academy in Vienna. They manufactured ceramic with enamel and painted porcelain and majolica items. Since 1906 until 1925 they started to produce Faiences especially animal figurines, lamps, vases and clocks, further genuine bronze, enamel and enamel colours for copper, silver and gold. They were represented at the International exhibition for modern and decorative art in Turin in 1902 (silver medal) and at the world exhibition in St. Louis (silver medal) in 1904. Some of designers for Schauer were: Rosa Neuwirth, Karl Philipp and Anton Puchegger.
