Description:
This is a great old tray that would be wonderful above your bar. The mustard gold painted metal tray is 19 5/8" in diameter. It depicts a turn of the century town with The Cooper Hollow Hotel featuring Harley & Ellen's Joint is in the center. Barrels sit on the sidewalk and a man hangs onto a lamp post while another man looks at him as he passes. A man driving a horse drawn wagon full of supplies passes in front of the hotel. At street sign reading North Florence Road hangs on the side of the building. The shop along that street include a barber shop and Miss Poo's Lunch. Old time song titles surround the tray's edge. They are: Auld Lang Syne, East Side West Side and For he's a jolly good fellow. The plaque appears to be handpainted. The artist signed the back, but it is hard to read. The last name seems to be Martin. The rim shows wear and chipping and there is some discoloring and scratches on the border.
