Description: Here's an old medicinal advertising cardboard box from E. Fougera & C., Inc., of 90 Beekman Street in New York - Aubergier's Pastilles of Lactucarium. These were meant to soothe the throat and recommended against colds! The company received gold medals in 1852 and 1850. There are images of these gold medals on the lid. There is slight edge wear due to age. If you like old advertising medicinal boxes, this is a nice one!
