Description:
Great Arts and Crafts style wall mount lantern. The lantern is made of a thick sheet metal and baked enamel decorated in "hammered metal" look. There are two color combinations - the hexagon shaped body with brass finial has a "hammered pewter" finish, the ornaments in lower part have "hammered bronze" finish. There are six butterscotch yellow stained glass panels, including one on the bottom of the lantern. The base frame is hinged with a screw mount. This lighting fixture was removed from a mansion built in 1916. It was used as the outdoor entrance lighting. It is in very good working condition. There is some fine white latex paint spatter, which can be easily removed. The wall mount plate and 2 supporting brackets also have "hammered pewter" finish. Dimension : 19" high x 8-3/4" diameter x 10-1/2" deep. The weight is approximately 10-15 pounds. If desired, 3 more identical lanterns are availble.
