Description: Nice arts and crafts era mission oak rocker. This is made of oak and quarter sawn oak and retains its original dark fumed like finish. This is a very unusual style as the seat boards run side to side and are bowed for comfort. I am not sure of the maker but it is c1900. The construction is dowels and round head screws. The back is 31" high, the seat is 15" high and approx 15x18". This style rocker is generally referred to as a ladies, mammy or nursing rocker.
Status: For Sale Reference#: 46_5425
Condition: original finish Year: c1900
