Description:
This 19-3/4" tall Arts & Crafts Era pottery lamp was made by Galloway Pottery of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the 1920's to 1930's era. The 8-1/2" tall and 8" in diameter pottery base was drilled and made into a lamp in the past times. No chips or cracks in the rutile/blue green glazed lamp base. The lamp comes with the vintage original fittings; but needs to be re-wired. There is no shade. I bought this lamp over 15 years ago from an estate sale of an "Old Maid" woman that came from the East Coast. A rare piece of signed American art pottery that was made into a nice accessory for an Arts & Crafts Era collector.
