Description: A signed hand painted tole ware tin bowl, signed by the artist John Dacey. He was an art teacher at Peterboro High School from 1910-1920 and a descendant of the writer Thornton Wilder. The bowl is green and painted with gold stylized flowers, leaves and wreathes. It is rusting and has some areas where the paint is lifting. Nevertheless, a nice old piece with attribution. It is 2.5" high and 12" in diameter.
