Description: A lovely pastoral scene that evokes a feeling of peace and contentment. A person stands outside their small cottage, nestled in the mountains while a stream flows by. The trees and grass are in various stages of their autumnal glory. For a small picture this item certainly packs in a lot without looking busy. Oil on wood, the artist's signature is in the upper left hand corner. The frame is actually attached to the wooden canvas and is done in green and gold. We don't know how old it is but it certainly has some age to it. We bought it at a local estate sale and it could probably use a cleaning. We haven't touched it since we would rather have whoever buys it make that decision.
